Hi To All,

It's been a very long time between posts, I hope this is in the right place.

I'm trying to create a link on a web page that will allow the visitor to  Tweet a link to that page to their followers.

So far I can get to the Twitter login page, after logging in the Tweet is auto filled with my message - (the person should only have to hit send).

However, the message has  "%20"  everyplace there should just be a space.

I'm sure I'm missing the nose on my face with this .. but any help would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks ......  Cheers

Probably because you are POST'ing HTML data into a FORM.

Try replacing "keyboard spaces" in document with

Or, there may be some Twitter restrictions on the code you can use?

Which makes me think it's possible ... just not the right code.

Any other ideas??

Yeh, you've got the right place, I can remember you when it was TIP or David Castle's when I was just joining.

Treblesix ... thanks a TON

The link was really informative .. I think I messed up the "  " 's .. at least that's what I was tinkering with when it started to work.  (so now I'm not touching it)

I do appreciate you taking the time to help.

Cheers .........  Dave

Welcome back

Dan

Thanks Daniboy .. yes it was back awhile, I first talked to David on WPW, then followed him here.  Seems like a long time ago now.

I have lurked but never had anything that was bad enough to ask for help, and there's very little I could contribute.

It's great to know you're all out here though.

Cheers ........  Dave
