I'm working on a personal project and I'm trying to figure out the best way with my limited budget.

It's a fundraising website where I would run monthly events.  I would create a master account for each participating schools or organizations.  Students, parents, & friends would log in to the master account and make purchases that would be linked to the master.  They would need to have the option to pay by check or credit card, pick up or ship and use their own information.  The school would get a % of all sales.

Ultimately, I would like the schools/organizations to be able to login and see their order statistics.  When the fundraising event ends, they should be able to pull a batch order to match against the checks they receive.

For phase 1, I'd be happy to only require checks, maybe have an email sent instructing the purchaser to send a check with their order to the organization.  I'm also ok to create the final batch order and stats manually.

I've been customizing ZenCart, but haven't gotten into installing additional modules yet.   Maybe this isn't the route I should take.

Yes, I know I'm in over my head, but that's ok.  I'm willing to pay for scripting that's too complicated for me to do.

Any input is greatly appreciated!

Electronic Commerce, commonly known as (electronic marketing) e-commerce or eCommerce, consists of the buying and selling of products or services over electronic systems such as the Internet and other computer networks. The amount of trade conducted electronically has grown extraordinarily with widespread Internet usage. The use of commerce is conducted in this way, spurring and drawing on innovations in electronic funds transfer, supply chain management, Internet marketing, online transaction processing, electronic data interchange (EDI), inventory management systems, and automated data collection systems. Modern electronic commerce typically uses the World Wide Web at least at some point in the transaction's lifecycle, although it can encompass a wider range of technologies such as e-mail as well.
