Used to be loads of disaster stories like that years ago David ...even  had
a couple myself.

Subsequently, I have always bought my domains from 123-reg.co.uk to
keep them seperate and manageable. Have no intention of ever taking
free or package-deal domains with webhosting. Been there/done that once too often. 

Well worth paying "peace of mind money" to avoid situations like David highlighted!
