Google Reveals Factors for Ranking Tweets

Dayum, I might have to start paying attention to Twitter after all.........

a couple of weeks ago i hear that it had snowed in florida....

"don't be daft it can't snow in florida!" was my reply, before searching GG for 'snow in florida'

half way down the 1st page was a twitter chat going...

• 1min ago "Yeah I heard that too!"
• 20secs ago "Yeah.. me too"

that's the only time I've seen real time twitter twats twittering... and i guess the ranking factor was 'snow in florida'. fascinating!   

I've already seen some tweets in Twitter a number of times being included in Google SERP for some keywords. Regarding this, Twitter has now a direct influence in Google, although it does not add to the ranking factors of your website. This means that your site can gain traffic from Google then into Twitter then to your website, that is, if your tweets would be included in Google SERPs.
