Community Builder CBSubs Released!

As much as I love Joomla, one shortcoming has been the lack of subscription systems available. I have been experimenting with AEC, but it has some quirks and it can be confusing. For example, a lot of the selections in the admin section are explained as double negatives. I hate poor documentation and explanations.

All of our sites use the Community Builder registration and user management system, and now the folks at CB have released the CBSubs subscription system. I have reviewed the features and it looks very promising.

However, the major drawback is that it is expensive for a Joomla plugin. For sites up to 5,000 users its $189 (145 EUR). That seems a bit steep to me.

That being said, I'm going to explore its functions a bit deeper and I will most likely buy a copy to evaluate. I'll keep everyone posted on my findings.
