Orite. This is a call for all you link builders out there and im talking more to the grey (gray) hat link builders amongst you - not the "just create great content" brigade! If you're one of the many SEOs out there who has to link build using the plethora of web 2.0 sites, forums, article sites, rss submitters etc... I've got a new idea to take the sting and some of the work out of the task. Basically it is an online Google docs spreadsheet (just like an excel one) with various sheets covering various types of site we use for link building. On each sheet there is a list of all the known sites in that particular area (which can be continually built upon). The list is divided up into three columns, "good - for review - bad". The main premise being that the sites with nofollow, sign up fees, submission fees, minimum post counts etc get put to the bad side. So as time goes on we end up with a list of the quality, quick and easy places to get links from. If anyone wants to help (cant make it public obviously) then let me know and ill send you an invite and we should all be able to help each other out! If no-ones interested then ill continue on my own... Peace.

I'm interested Matt, I just recently started building my own list and it would certainly help to pool ideas, after all, none of the places I'll be submitting to would exist if other people weren't submitting to them as well anyway. Also, it might motivate me to get of my arse and do it properly.

Okey dokey! Just PM me your main email address and ill add send you an invite. At the moment we've got 3 sheets to work from - Article Submission Sites, Social Media Sites and Free Press Release sites. As time goes on we can add more spread sheets for forums, rss aggregators, blog reels, directories etc... If we all use the spread sheet as our primary source for link building and keep it up to date with reviews and comments on each site then we can all use each others efforts to work more effectively! The chat function on the right hand side of Google docs is pretty cool as well! Exchange tips in real time! If anyone knows link builders who would be interested in contributing then spread the word! (friendly and reliable individuals only tho!)

Can I get an invite? characterplanet(AT)gmail.com . What's to stop someone from not contributing much and using the list though? Is the power of a list only good if a few people know about it? I got some lists that I would share if I could get something in return, so looks like a great idea.

Hi GameFriends... The doors to link club are currently locked im afraid! We have about half a dozen members who know each other through this forum and are all on first name terms.
However, the doors to link club may open again! But its kind of like getting an allotment, you've gotta wait till someone dies! Im joking of course... If you hang around and get to know people for a few weeks/months then im sure you'll be invited soon enough.

I spent almost a year working on a similar list... it was invaluable to me, then, about 3 days before this thread started, the company i worked for had called in the receivers and it was bye bye lap top, bye bye list I've been looking for something similar ever since without 'starting it all from scratch'. anyhow, i did find this which is maybe useful... http://www.web-directories.ws/at least they let us know if it's sign up, paid, free or reciprocal

Hey is this calling still alive? If yes than please invite me too. I am working for the SEO company for 2 years. I believe in quality rather than quantity. If this programme is still running than please send e-mail in [adeelmanandhar(at)yahoo.com] Regards,
