Have you ever used Long tail keywords for link building and SEO, they are less target keywords but can drive good traffic
I would like to know if you have tried those. Infact i have seen in PPC and SEO, Many people think that only main keyword are good ones and provide traffic

Any seo will have worked with so called long tail keywords, anyone in PPC must work with the long tail otherwose they'll likely be losing alot of money.

Well, targeting long tail KWs with high / fair traffic is a good KW to target first.

I think it depends on the individual keyword anyway - if you're targeting a long tail keyword with a decent amount of traffic then it should work just as well as any other targeted keyword.

Let me give some example on this. This is just the physiological one. Test it.
Which keyword do you choose if you want to buy a second hand car?
1. Car
2. Second Hand Car
3. buy second hand cars
4. buy second hand cars in cheap rates.
I definitely go for the 4th one. Being a user definitely user chooses the 4th one. Am I right.Therefore targeting long tails keyword is not a waste.
Why don't you make a try yourself? When I see my analytics for my website I can see maximum number of long tail keyword. So I must say they are equally important as the only keyword.

This is pretty much the only type of link building I've ever done. I rarely target very competitive keyword phrases.

Long tail keyword is best for driven business oriented traffic and easily to got rank in SERP. small keyword create a brand but very tough to come in top 10 thought these small keyword because they are very competitive .

To using the long tile keywords it’s a best apprenticed business aggressive to get traffic, and calmly SERP Rank for using small keywords it’s tough to get SERP after-effects results in major search engines. But Google to be crawler to limited bound keywords only.

in SEO, long tail keyword does help in ranking in long term. It will be something that is achievable at the same time something that attracts other related keywords to rank high as well. While in PPC, long tail keyword plays something like an imaginary idea of every targeted consumer. Just put your shoe on them and think what you can think of quickly for such product? That's how long term keyword works. And yes, it will make you spend a lot if you're not too cautious on keyword for PPC.

Heys I would say it's smarter and easier to target longtail keywords, just because if you are targeting the most popular keywords it's going to be so much harder as there is alot more competiton. *drops irrelevant link* Website Designers <Highly relevant. *More irrelevant links*  good backlink there. |

If your main keywords have too much competition then target long tail keywords along with main keywords, this will not gives you as much traffic as main keyword but still you got some thing. Also take suggestion from Google adword or any other keyword suggestion tool.
