To answer your question, I would say it's more about how your site looks and how
much targeted traffic you get.

Why don't you just promote clickbank affiliate products on your blog?

Your domain is also an important factor advertiser looks at when think of advertising on your blog. But with this they also look at your blog traffic, Number of RSS subscribers your blog have, Technorati ranking, Alexa Ranking and content quality on your blog

I came across with this question when I planned to monetize my blog with offers and deals but the company told be that I should add more content and bring in more target traffic and get back to them whenever I feel confident about this issue.. To your question, it takes time to upload new and numerous content to blog, it takes time to have those contents indexed by SEs, and it takes time to do SEO and grab traffic to your blog. Let's say 2-3 months onward?
