Hi people. I may have asked about this before but gonna ask again...
Has anyone got any good advice for increasing the amount of traffic to a blog?
The blog that I'm working has got some good content but its in a niche industry. So far the blog's getting about 200/300 page views a week but I know they can get more. To promote the blog I've been working on SE rankings (obviously!), social media (facebook), social bookmarking (stumble, technorati etc) and posting on related blogs. It feels like i just need to get the name on the street and then the blog would do really well, has anyone got any techniques that they use to "get the word out"?

Focus on reasons why people should revisit the site and subscribe to the feed.
Then condense the reasons into PR for distribution.
Talk with everyone who fits the profile and get their input.

You have to update unique content in your blog daily posts and spread over in social media then you get good traffic for your blog.
