For those of you that don't know, although I have my own firm I also work with a real estate magazine publisher (free health benefits!) and have developed their real estate and destination vacation portal sites. You can see an example at
Hilton Head 360.
Anyway, we decided to let other real estate and travel publishers become part of our 360 Network. But what we heard from the real estate publishers is that their local agents wanted a good real estate web site solution. I hated to hear this, because I'm a real estate web site snob. I charge big bucks for custom designed web sites and absolutely HATE out of the box real estate web site designs. But now I was in a position where in order to grow revenues I needed to come up with something.
Well, I did come up with something and lo and behold I'm actually very excited about it. The
CORE360 Agent real estate web site design - even though it's an out of the box solution - is a pretty neat piece of engineering and function.
You can poke around the demo to see the details, but here are a few features that I really like:
1. Agents enter their listings on our
Great Real Estate 360 web site and those listings automatically feed to their CORE360 Agent sites and the local and regional sites in their market.
2. Agents can also feed their listings to Zillow, Trulia, Yahoo Real Estate, Google base, and other real estate portal sites outside of our network.
3. Unlike most out of the box sites, content is NOT restricted to just a few categories. Agents can create categories and sub categories on the fly. Better yet, the navigation menus are automatically populated with these categories but ONLY if content is present. That means no links to empty pages.
4. Content is easily added through a WYSIWYG editor or HTML editor. We even have built in typography so agents can jazz up their web sites.
5. ALL content is syndicated every time they post a new article (Feedburner, Technorati, Ping O Matic, and many others).
There are a lot more features and benefits, but you'll have to check out the demo. We released this product on a limited basis in our own market 2 weeks ago and already have a dozen orders. Not only that, but the first 3 magazine publishers we talked to signed up with us and we have yet to publicize these sites in those markets.
This is going to be BIG.
