I keep getting this on one page only...

w3c cant validate the page because "The error was: utf8 "\xA0" does not map to Unicode"

I did a bit of digging and \xA0 is equivalent to a non breaking space (& nbsp').

I've retyped the line with the error, I've removed any formatting with notepad and pasted it back in, but still it wont' validate because it doesn't like a space.

Is this a problem with the validater or something i'm doing wrong?

Never come across this one before.

found it!

a space after a </p> tag on a completely different line to where W3C said the error was...

note to self... don't type html in a word doc!  Tongue

well.... I was typing up some content using the spell and grammar checker, and then banged in the few <p> tags.

I've done it many times in the past but now W3C is company policy, I have to keep checking. Usually I don't worry/bother with W3C,

if it looks right, it's right!  (but that's the joiner in me talking)
